Ron Fraser

 

He was impressed by the activities which Rucanor organized, to promote baseball in Holland and try to get baseball off the ground. His biggest passion was the development of this sport. Baseball in the USA, at that time, was a huge sport. After a short period, as an active athlete, Ron Fraser made a tremendous and very impressive carrier as college baseball coach at the University of Miami (1963 till 1992!). Named as ‘The wizard of college baseball’ he made the college baseball started to get famous. With a permanent lobby, also thanks to the excellent performance of his team, he made it to get his ‘college baseball’ on TV. At the seventies he was the creator for building a new stadium in Miami. The USA gets his business. After his goodbye at 1992, he daily went to the stadium of course.
